Ortus Laboratories (Seychelles) was founded in December 2016 by Dr. Victoria Morin-Adeline, a Seychelloise who was born and raised on the island of Mahé. The laboratory is the first, privately-owned, independent commercial laboratory in Seychelles. Over the years, the laboratory has been steadily expanding the variety and quality of services on offer and will further expand to cover a wider range of sample matrices as the demand arises.

Ortus Laboratories (Seychelles) offers services to everyone; individuals, private companies, government agencies or large corporations. The services that are on offer are as varied as our client base. Great care is taken to stay current with advancements in testing, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to guarantee the integrity of every test offered. The range of testing options are from chemical and microbiological testing of water and wastewater samples, nutritional, chemical and microbiology of food and beverage samples, veterinary diagnostics to investigative approaches for corp, livestock and environmental problems. Intensive collaborations with well known international scientists enables expertise in various fields, including ecotoxicologists, biochemists, molecular biologists, analytical chemists, environmental chemists and technologists.
